Rába's key strength lies in its vertically integrated production structure, processes and technologies. Based on these, the company offers its customers a complex service package ranging from engineering design through production and assembly to testing and logistical solutions.

A key area of Rába's strategy is the ongoing development of the technologies applied, in order to maintain and improve competitiveness in the long run and to increase market share. As part of direct market expansion measure, Rába has launched a large-scale capital expenditure programme, amounting to over HUF 10 billion, aimed at introducing new forging technology and installing a high-productivity production line, which were concluded in 2019..  Through the capital expenditure, production capacity increased significantly, product quality and labour efficiency improved. 

Rába's dominant core technology is forging.
Owing to the forging plant established in 1896, Rába now relies on experience gathered over more than 100 years in the manufacturing of forged products. Continous developments have contributed to the steady increase in productivity. As a results of these, the forging plant, together with the state-of-the-art heat treatment workshop of suitable capacity, is now one of the largest and most advanced forging operations in the region. Its core business is the production of forged parts for the automotive industry (freight vehicles, buses and specialty vehicles). These are used not only in front and rear axles and head assemblies manufactured by Rába but also in the products of countless other axle and head assembly producers the world over.
