Rába closes business year 2017 with solid results, AGM raises dividend
The annual general meeting of Rába Holding Plc. approved the report of the Board of Directors on the business operation of the company in the year 2017. Rába Group concluded the business year 2017 with a total comprehensive income amounting to HUF 1.56 billion and consolidated total assets of HUF 36.4 billion. The AGM, in accordance with the company’s improving profitability, resolved that Rába increase dividends, thus the shareholders are to be paid HUF 23 per each share with the face value of HUF 1 000.

Rába Group further improved its efficiency and profitability in 2017: alongside the growing sales revenue the operating profit showed a HUF 146 million increase compared to the previous year, and the operating profitability also experienced a boost. The cash-flow generating efficiency of the company retained a level above the industry’s average in 2017, the EBITDA profit came to HUF 4.1 billion with the return on sales at 9.3 percent.

Rába has been increasing consolidated equity since 2012, while the company significantly lowered the net loan, thus having facilitated the launch and timely implementation of its strategic investment program, which will help the company to cater to the demands of its partners with state-of-the-art technology and expanded capacity from 2019 onward.

Rába’s AGM approved the company’s consolidated annual report based on the following main figures:

The General Meeting resolved that the Company shall pay a dividend of HUF 23 per each share with the face value of HUF 1 000 from the company’s untied retained earnings supplemented by the aftertax profit of the financial year 2017. Shareholders registered in the company’s Register of Shareholders to be drawn up for the purpose of dividend payment with the record date of 22 May 2018 will be entitled to dividend. The starting day of dividend payment: 29 May 2018.

The mandate of István Pintér as Chairman of the Board of Directors expires on 13 April 2018. The new member and the Chairman of the Board of Directors were elected and their remuneration was set pursuant to shareholder motion. The General Meeting re-elected István Pintér as Chairman of  the Board of Directors, and Andor Nándor Tóth as a new member of the Board of Directors until 19 May 2021.
